Close contacts made after night visit to Auckland nightclub

Late night revelers at an Auckland nightclub on New Years Eve were told they were close contacts of a Covid-19 case at the Department of Health’s last places of interest.

People who were at Longroom Nightclub in Gray Lynn from 10 p.m. on December 31 to 12:50 a.m. on New Years Eve were asked to get tested and self-isolate.

The emergency department at Taranaki Base Hospital was also listed on Wednesday afternoon as a place of interest for people who were there between 6:30 p.m. on New Years Day and midnight.

Murder Burger on Ponsonby Rd ​​was also a 1:50 – 2:10 a.m. spot on January 1. Anyone at these locations during these hours should also follow ministry protocols.
